Engineering Intern

The Village of Grafton is seeking candidates for an Engineering Intern position for the summer of 2026.
 
The successful candidate will be a current student enrolled in a 4-year engineering degree program with at least a sophomore status as of fall 2025. They will primarily be responsible for field construction inspection duties on Village street, utility (water main, sanitary sewer, storm sewer), and sidewalk reconstruction projects. Other tasks include electronic as-built plan updates, plan filing, and other tasks as assigned.
 
This is a full-time seasonal (summer) position with a starting pay rate of $22.13/hr.+, based upon experience. Applicants should anticipate an average of 50 hours per week, Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays (hours worked over 40 per week will be paid at time-and-a-half).
