WWII Living History Event - May 19 & 20
The Ozaukee County Historical Society Holds its
Annual WWII Event May 19th & 20th
The event starts with a WWII School Day, May 19 from 9AM-2:00PM. This day is focused on education of the aspects of WWII and life as a soldier in the camp. Students will learn flag etiquette, weaponry, difficulties of a soldiers life at war. This requires a sign up sheet that can be found on the website. It also is a preview day for adults who would like to learn or those not available on May 20th. The public price is only $5.
May 20th is the full encampment day with two battles Noon & 3PM , military vehicle parade at 11AM and demonstrations throughout the day. There is a holocaust exhibit and much more to learn about. Food and beverages are available for purchase all day.
