Vertical Gardening
Join the Cedarburg and Grafton Libraries for a four-week lecture series, Monday nights at 6:30 pm. from June 19 through July 10, on topics related to Building a Better World (the theme of this year’s Summer Reading Program). Ozaukee Master Gardener, Susie Granzow, will explain how vertical gardening can be used to grow flowers, fruit, and vegetables in a smaller space, with easier access, pest and disease control, and more. She will show examples of vertical supports ranging from purchased, do-it-yourself construction, and repurposing “found” items that you may have cluttering up your basement or garage.
