Underground Railroad in Wisconsin
As enslaved people sought freedom in Canada in the mid-1800's, many passed through Wisconsin on our own Underground Railroad. At least 100 escapees found freedom on a path through Wisconsin. Join Dave Warren is an Underground Railroad expert from the Milton House, the last certified Underground Railroad Station in Wisconsin, He tells the story of the Underground Railroad, and the gripping event the that put Wisconsin front and center in the nation's fight over abolishing slavery.
