Mead Making Workshop
Mead, the oldest alcoholic beverage known to the world, is a fermented blend of pure honey, water and yeast. Often fruits, flowers and spices are added producing a dry, semi-sweet, sweet or even sparkling mead. Mead is something that is quite easy to make and you can join John Holzwart as he shares his experience with this enjoyable past time. Participants will make one batch of mead with the class and take home a small bottle for themselves.
