Bluegrass at the Village - August 13th, 2024
The Ozaukee County Historical Society presents Bluegrass at the Village on Sunday, August 11 at Ozaukee County Pioneer Village in Saukville. Now is its 18th year, has become a family favorite tradition along with a great sampling of different types of bluegrass music.

Bluegrass at the Village will be held August 11 at Ozaukee County Pioneer Village, 4880 County Hwy I, Saukville, WI. The stage is under the platform of the historic Cedarburg train station and is the perfect setting for a bluegrass festival.

This year’s lineup includes; Pickin’ Up Speed, The Milbillies, Fox Crossing, the Jordan & Ernest from Chicken Wire Empire, The Foxgloves and The Heartland Howlers will close out the event.

The Foxgloves from Minneapolis, MN is this year's featured band. This an all-female band entertains their audience with their engaging presence, rich instrumentation, compelling storytelling/songwriting and four-part harmonies. They have a little bluegrass, country, American and classics in their repertoire.

We have 450 seats under a tent and other patrons bring blankets and lawn chairs to pick out their own best seat in the house {Sorry, no carry-ins or pets} A variety of food and beverages are available to purchase. There will be vendors and a fundraising raffle, too. The gates open at 10:30AM and the music starts at 11:00AM. Admissions is $12 in advance (https://www.ochs.co.ozaukee.wi.us/) or $15 at the gate the day of the event.

Tickets may be purchased on-line at a real bargain: $12.00 General Admission. All tickets at the gate are $15.00.
Rain-or-Shine. We have over 500 seats available under a large tent, people are welcome to bring lawn chairs and find a place in the shade.
