Back To Basics: Core
Have you felt that your abdomen hasn’t looked the same since having a baby? Do you have pain that you feel is linked to a weak core? Looking to tone your tummy? If you answered yes to the above, please consider attending Back to Basics: Core lecture with Anne Nord, MOT and Women’s Health Specialist.
Discussion points include posture, lifting techniques, home exercises, injury prevention, diastasis recti assessments, and adapting to the gym.
We do recommend mothers be beyond 6 weeks postpartum.
All women can benefit from discarding unhealthy habits and learning how to help regain a pre-pregnancy tummy. Simple exercises that can be done at home will be taught in a small group setting after a brief lecture on the core and its function.
*Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat or beach towel.
