Astronomical Signs at Harrington Beach
Kevin Bert, member of the Northern Cross Science Foundation, will be at the Grafton Library to talk about a new feature at the Jim and Gwen Plunkett Observatory located within Harrington Beach State Park. Several astronomical sign markers were recently added around the grounds of the observatory as a part of an Eagle Scout project. These signs help visitors learn more about astronomy. During this talk, you will learn about the signs, how they are useful, and how you can learn more about astronomy in general.
